I am Kishor Sharma from the beautiful country of Nepal. I completed my Bachelor of Computer Engineering in 2013 from a reputed university of Nepal known as Tribhuwan University, and I completed my Master in Information Technology (specialised in software design and development) from Charles Sturt University, Brisbane in 2019. I worked as Quality Assurance Engineering in a software company for 3.5 years before commencing a Master of Information Technology at Charles Sturt University, Brisbane. I’ve worked for 2 software companies in my home country, the first one is Leapfrog Technology which provides services to US-based clients, and the second one is Logpoint Pvt. Ltd. which has its own product (LogPoint). While I was studying in Brisbane, I started working as Test Automation Analyst at GIS People, Brisbane. After I completed my MIT, I started working as a full-time QA Engineer in a software company ARQ Group. During my work experience, I got a chance to work on projects on different platforms like web apps, iOS apps, Android apps and the WeChat mini-program. I’ve experience in assuring the quality of the software through manual/automation testing.
I am passionate about the quality of the software as I believe if we do not maintain the quality of the software we will lose the trust of people in software. The automation things are what excite me most.
Apart from my academic qualification, I love to watch movies, series and listening songs. Being born in the country of hills/mountains I love trekking, hiking and adventures. I have already experienced trekking in the beautiful mountain of Nepal, bungee jumping, swinging, rafting, para sailing, para gliding etc etc. Many more are yet on the bucket list to be completed.
